Welcome to Locate Us (the "App"). This Terms of Service agreement (the "Agreement") outlines the rules for using Locate Us. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please stop using the App immediately.
1. About Locate Us
Locate Us is a professional location tracking application designed for real-time positioning, location sharing, and intelligent location management. Core capabilities include:
• Real-time location tracking with advanced GPS positioning technology for precise location updates;
• Interactive maps with street view and satellite imagery for detailed location visualization;
• Location sharing with family members and friends in real-time;
• Location history and travel route tracking with timestamps;
• Geofencing areas (home, school, work) with instant notifications for entry and exit;
• Emergency location sharing and SOS features for enhanced safety;
• Location analytics and reports to understand movement patterns;
• Smart notifications for arrival, departure, low battery, and movement detection.
Important:
Locate Us requires location permissions to function. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to track and share locations of devices you manage. Always respect privacy laws and obtain consent before tracking others' locations. Use location tracking responsibly and ethically.
2. Eligibility and Account Requirements
Most features can be used without creating an account. Where optional user profiles or cloud sync become available, you must provide accurate information and safeguard your credentials. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your device or account, including location sharing decisions and geofencing settings.
3. Location Data and Privacy
• Location data is essential for the App's functionality. By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of location information.
• Your location data is stored securely and is only shared with contacts you explicitly authorize. You control who can see your location and when.
• We process aggregated or anonymized analytics to enhance product quality and reliability, but this data does not identify you personally.

4. Location Sharing and Consent
• You may only share locations of devices you own or have explicit permission to track. Tracking others without consent may violate privacy laws.
• When sharing your location with others, you are responsible for ensuring those contacts are trustworthy and will use your location information appropriately.
• You can revoke location sharing permissions at any time through the App settings.
• We are not responsible for how your contacts use location information you share with them.
5. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Trials
• Some advanced features are available through in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions displayed in the storefront.
• Charges are billed to your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions within your platform account settings. Fees already paid are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
6. Advertising and Third-Party Services
• Free tiers of Locate Us may display advertisements provided by third-party networks.
• We aim to ensure ads are appropriate, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of third-party content.
• Third-party SDKs (such as map services) and analytics services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before use.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, stalking, harassment, or harmful purposes;
• Track or monitor others' locations without their explicit consent;
• Share location data in ways that violate privacy rights or applicable laws;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent security or usage limits;
• Interfere with App functionality or access Locate Us systems without authorization.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we detect violations of these requirements.
8. Intellectual Property
All content in Locate Us—including text, graphics, software, interfaces, trademarks, and logos—is owned by the Locate Us team or licensors and protected by applicable laws. You may use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes and may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Locate Us is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee perfect location accuracy, error-free operation, or uninterrupted service. Location accuracy depends on various factors including GPS signal strength, network conditions, device capabilities, and environmental factors. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate location data or service interruptions.
10. Limitation of Liability
Within the limits allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: loss of data, inaccurate location information, privacy breaches, or any harm resulting from location sharing. Your maximum remedy for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App or the affected service during the previous twelve months. We are not responsible for how third parties use location information you share with them.
11. Changes and Termination
We may update this Agreement to reflect product or legal changes. When we make material updates, we will notify you in-app or through other reasonable means. Continued use after an update signals your acceptance. You may stop using the App at any time; we may also discontinue or suspend access with reasonable notice where feasible.
